Known for bold layering, playful accessories, and an anything-goes attitude, Harajuku street style is all about expressing your unique self. At the heart of it all is the spirit of kawaii (pronounced kah-wah-EE)—a Japanese word meaning cute, adorable, or delightfully quirky.
