You’ve arrived at just the right moment.

Ellowyne has taken to the dining room again—her preferred stage for these quiet little performances. The chandelier glows, the table is set (far too perfectly), and she moves about as though guests are expected.

They are not.

And yet… she insists on dressing for them.

There has been an unusual hush in the house these past few days. Silks whispering. Jewelry laid out with great intention. A certain… theatrical composure settling over everything.

This latest ensemble—Lachrymostest Hostess—is, I suspect, less about entertaining and more about atmosphere. A mood carefully constructed. Something delicate. Something dramatic. Something just a touch indulgent.

As for me, I have been presented with my own “perfectly appropriate” arrangement.

It is, as expected, entirely insufficient.

Still… I will be watching.
