Oh… you’ve come to the aviary.

How fitting.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before Ellowyne unveiled Feather Weather. Not the sensible kind, of course—nothing practical ever happens here—but the sort that drifts, catches the light, and insists on being noticed. Feathers that refuse to behave. Texture that moves when you do. It’s all very… theatrical.

Her April look—Feather Weather—is a study in softness with just enough attitude to make it interesting. There’s a delicate, airy top that seems to float around her, layered with whisper-light feathers that catch every bit of light (and, unfortunately, my attention). Paired with the most perfectly tailored blush trousers—sleek, structured, and entirely too polished for all this fluff—it creates a look that somehow balances chaos and control. I will admit… it works.

And the shoes. I noticed those immediately. Soft, plush, and just indulgent enough to make walking look like a performance rather than a necessity.

And then there’s me.

Apparently, I am now part of Feather Weather. Yes—matching. A feathered collar, tied just so, as if I agreed to this arrangement. I didn’t. But if one must participate in such things, one should at least do it flawlessly. Which, of course, I do.

This month, we retreat into Ellowyne’s aviary—her sanctuary of light, greenery, and entirely too many birds watching everything unfold. Fitting, really. There will be Tamara’s newest pattern (her third—and this one leans deliciously into Dark Academia, which I find far more appropriate), and a certain presence from that world… The Dreamer. Quiet. Observant. I approve.
