A Wonderful Visit with Robert Tonner in Kingston, New York!

A Wonderful Visit with Robert Tonner in Kingston, New York!

What a wonderful few days I've had in Kingston, New York! I traveled here to celebrate the launch of Robert Tonner's new book, Practically Human, the first in his three-book BioCore Chronicles series.

I read most of the book on my flight to New York, and when I got to my hotel, I still had a little bit left to read. Instead of getting out and doing other things, I found myself completely wrapped up in the story and had to finish it!

The book follows a young girl named Sam, her family, her friendships, and the adventures and challenges of growing up. At the heart of the story is a very special doll named Em, short for Empathy, who becomes part of Sam's extraordinary journey. I really loved it.

The book launch itself was wonderful, and the following day was just as special. We spent time with Robert interviewing him about his book, touring his incredible doll collection in his studio, and even looking through fabrics for some of the new doll fashions he's working on.

We also had some wonderful conversations about everything happening in the doll world and the exciting things coming in the years ahead.

It was such a special visit, and I'm so grateful to Robert for being so generous with his time, creativity, and friendship.

And the best part? We filmed THREE new videos for Virtual Doll Convention during our visit! I can't wait to share them with all of you.

If you'd like to read Practically Human, it's available through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

What a wonderful few days celebrating books, dolls, creativity, and friendship!
