Blue Tea for Two is what happens when Ellowyne wakes up in January, feels inexplicably blue about the year ahead, and decides the only sensible response is to borrow a vintage dress and sit very still with a teacup. The pale blue gown — quietly elegant, softly bowed, and entirely borrowed from Grandmother Gwen’s closet — drifts through the parlor light as if it has nowhere else to be.
I joined her, of course. There was tea. There were thoughts. No one hurried. It’s the sort of outfit made for long pauses, porcelain cups, and contemplating life while pretending the parasol is necessary indoors.
