Violet Void: A Whisper from the Attic

This month, Ellowyne and I have ascended the creaking staircase to the attic—where forgotten trunks hold stories, and cobwebs shimmer like lace in the half-light. Naturally, I was the first to inspect the place for both treasure and trouble.

Ellowyne, ever the vision, arrived in her gown of deep violet satin veiled in black lace, a dress that seems to have been spun from moonlight and mystery itself. Aptly named Violet Void, it’s trimmed in sequins that glimmer like distant stars and finished with a fitted silhouette worthy of a midnight ball.

The high lace collar frames her face with quiet drama, while every stitch whispers of gothic beauty and introspection. I, of course, add the final touch—a knowing look and a flick of my tail.

Some say the attic is haunted. I say it’s simply misunderstood—much like Ellowyne herself.

Get ready for a touch of glamour—this month’s sewing pattern, High Drama, is pure couture for Ellowyne Wilde. Created exclusively for the Ellowyne Subscription by Tamara Casey of Designs by Jude, this gown lives up to its name with its elegant silhouette and dramatic flair.

Crafted in satin with a black lace overlay, it features a sculpted fit, a collared neckline, and ostrich feather trim at the cuffs and hemline. The gown is fully lined with a zipper back closure, offering a polished finish worthy of any runway (or drawing room).
